Spinner's Guide to Internet Geek Speak

"I was surfing in the UK when I ran into a URL for a cool site, but when I entered the URL, my DNS couldn't tell me where the computer was."

Julius looked at Rayzer and Spinner in confusion. "Huh."

"So what did you do, did you report to the TPTB, the webmaster?" Rayzer asked.

"Yes, but that was 2:00 AM GMT. I'll check again this evening to see if the fix is in." Spinner replied.

Julius grinned up at Spinner amd Rayzer. "Uhh, Rayzer, Spinner. What language are you speaking?"

"Language?" Rayzer picked up the long eared pooch and set him on his lap. He scratched behind the dog's ear. Julius grinned contently with his long tongue hanging out.

"I'm speaking English of course." Rayzer told his pooch. "Well actually, Internettese, the new international language of the Internet."

"Oh," Julius said, "I see." He really didn't see, but now that Rayzer was scratching behind his ear, it wasn't that important to him. "Ooooohhh right there.. Yes, right there... A little more up.....Yes that's it...."
