For the Auburn Parents

A number of parents have asked to be kept abreast of activities in the 5th-grade Internet classroom, and we will make every effort to provide that information. First, we want to tell you about the computers and software we are installing, in case you wish to make similar purchases on your own. There are usually many sources of these products...we'll try to provide at least one vendor.

The software is designed to provide writing, drawing, imaging, and networking capabilites. We are providing site-blocking software to restrict network access to many unsuitable sites, as well as anti-virus software to minimize the possibility of infecting our systems with viruses that have the potential to damage software and data.
